This touching new song from Cecelia Benson recounts the experience of a little girl being rescued by her dad in the middle of a snowstorm. Years later the father, stricken with Alzheimer's disease, holds his daughter's hand after being found scared, wandering alone in the dark. She comforts him with the words she heard him say when he rescued her that wintry day in her youth: "Hold on tight, you're all right. Let's go home."
Featuring a beautiful accompaniment composed by Amy Benson Lacey and orchestrated and conducted by Jay Richards, Let's Go Home will touch the heart of anyone who has ever felt alone and scared or who has seen a loved one suffer from the effects of Alzheimer's.
